NDSU athletics had a rough week.

Football
NDSU Football took the short trip up north to Grand Forks to play UND. The Bison did not have a great start on Saturday. They gave up a 100 yard kickoff return to UND to start the game. Cam Miller and the Bison offense would come out and respond with a touchdown of their own. But this set the tone for the rest of the day. NDSU's defense wouldn't be able to stop anything the Fighting Hawks did on offense. And while the Bison offense was able to score points and keep up, especially when the defense came up with their first of 2 stops all game, it just wouldn't be enough. It really hurt when the offense sputtered in the 3rd quarter, as UND slowly put the game away. Its NDSU's first loss to UND since 1993, and their first loss to their in-state rival in the Division 1 era, they had previously been 5-0 against their old rivals. A lot of things will need to change for the Bison to return to form.
This week, NDSU comes home to start a 2-game home stand. The Bison will host league-last Western Illinois on Saturday at 2:30 PM CT at the Fargodome.

North Dakota State Football is 1-2 in MVFC play, and 4-2 overall on the season.

Soccer
NDSU Soccer also had a rough week. While the Bison had the majority of the week off, they played down in Vermillion against South Dakota on Sunday. They lost that game, 2-1. Going into their last regular season game, the Bison need to win against Denver and they need a Kansas City loss to sneak into the Summit League tourney field. Otherwise, they Bison will stay home this year.
This week, the Bison will host league-leading Denver in the final regular season contest of the year on Thursday at 6:30 PM CT.

North Dakota State Soccer is 0-3-4 in Summit League play and 4-6-6 overall on the season.

Volleyball
NDSU Volleyball also had a rough week. NDSU had the week off, but the Bison would fall in St. Paul to the Tommies. They gave up a 5 set comeback, after being up 2 sets to none. Fortunately for the Bison, they sit firmly in 5th place which would keep them in the tournament field for now at the midpoint of the conference season.
This week, the Bison will host in-state rival UND for the Gold Rush game on Tuesday at 7 PM CT. Then, on Thursday, NDSU will Oral Roberts for the Pink game at 7 PM CT. The Bison will finish off the week hosting Denver on Saturday at 11 AM CT.

North Dakota State Volleyball is 3-4 in Summit League play and 11-7 overall on the season.
