NDSU Athletics had a good weekend!

Football
NDSU Football hosted Illinois State this weekend. The game did not start well for the Bison. NDSU punted on their first two drives, and then Illinois State scored on their second possession. After this, NDSU scored on their next possession with a pass from Cam Miller to Hunter Luepke.
In the second quarter, the Bison scored before halftime off a 29 yard field goal from Griffin Crosa. This came after Destin Talbert intercepted the Illinois State quarterback at midfield.
In the second half, both teams couldn't manage much until midway through the 3rd quarter when the Bison scored on a Cam Miller run to the endzone. The teams continued to not score again until midway in the 4th quarter when the Bison scored for the final time on a Cole Payton designed run for 12 yards.

This week, NDSU will hit the road to go face Western Illinois. Kickoff is set for 1 PM on Saturday, November 5th.
North Dakota State Football is 6-2 overall and 4-1 in MVFC play.

Women's Soccer
NDSU soccer traveled to Denver, Colorado to play their first Summit League tournament game in 4 years this week. They played 4th seeded Oral Roberts on Friday in the Quarterfinal match. They managed to score to match ORU in regulation 1-1, but lost in the second overtime period to be eliminated 2-1.
This year, the Bison managed to play in the Summit League tournament, which they hadn't done previously since 2018. Great season ladies!

North Dakota State Women's Soccer finishes the season with a 4-5 record in Summit League play, and a 8-9-3 overall record.

Volleyball
NDSU Volleyball was on the road this week. They started the week by traveling to Kansas City to face the Roos. They won in 5 sets after recovering to win the final frame. Then they played Oral Roberts in Tulsa on Saturday and won in 3 sets.
This week, NDSU will return home briefly where they will play South Dakota State on Tuesday at 7 PM. Then, on Saturday they travel north to play in-state rival North Dakota at 4 PM.

North Dakota State Volleyball is 17-7 on the season and 10-2 in Summit League play.

What a week of Bison athletics! Be looking next week for my NDSU Men's/Women's Basketball preview attached to the week's review.
