It was a fairly great week for the Bison!!

Football
NDSU Football welcomed in their in-state rivals to the north for the 117th matchup in series history. The Bison started fairly fast, putting up two touchdowns in the first quarter. UND would respond right away in the 2nd quarter with a touchdown of their own. After a fumble provoked it, NDSU would score another touchdown. Before halftime, both teams would trade field goals.
In the second half, the Bison forced a fumble on UND's first play from scrimmage - and NDSU would take advantage by scoring another touchdown. By now it was 31-10. Late in the 3rd quarter, the Bison were driving again. Cam Miller scrambled out of the pocket and attempted to slide but did so awkwardly and was hammered by a UND linebacker, who was flagged for a late hit. Miller would head to the locker room briefly, before coming back out and having his ankle wrapped and ice applied. From coach's press conference - it sounds like he could have returned if NDSU needed him. But since in his absence, Cole Payton threw a flea-flicker 33-yard score to Mekhi Collins, the Bison were sitting comfortably with a 38-10 lead heading into the 4th quarter. Miller would not return to the field of play. UND would score another touchdown, but that would pretty much do it. The Bison would tack on a 45 yard field goal with 5 minutes left - but NDSU would emerge victorious.
This week, the Bison will head back out to Illinois to take on Southern Illinois. Kickoff is at 2 PM CT and will be broadcast on ESPN+.

North Dakota State Football is 2-0 in MVFC play and 5-1 overall on the season.

Women's Soccer
NDSU Soccer played one lone game this week, at our in-state rivals to the north. Despite losing a player due to a red card, the Bison emerged victorious in a 2-1 game.
This week, the Bison will return home to host Oral Roberts on Thursday at 6 PM CT. Then they will travel to Denver on Sunday for their final road game of the regular season. That game will start at 1 PM CT.

North Dakota State Women's Soccer is 2-0-1 in Summit League play and 6-4-3 overall on the season.

Volleyball
NDSU Volleyball hosted two conference games this week. They started with Denver on Thursday, which they won in a sweep. On Saturday, they hosted Oral Roberts and fell in a 5 set thriller.
This week, the Bison will go back on the road to play Kansas City and Omaha on Thursday and Saturday.

North Dakota State Volleyball is 2-1 in Summit League play and 6-6 overall on the season.

Go Bison!!
