It was a good week for Bison athletics!

Football
NDSU Football had a great bounce back weekend! The Bison started their first road trip of the season in Springfield this Saturday to face off against the Bears of Missouri State. NDSU came out of the gate swinging for the fences! The Bison scored first on the first possession of the game when Cam Miller threw a touchdown pass to senior WR Zach Mathis. The Bison would force a three and out from Missouri State, and went back to work. NDSU would go the length of the field and finished with Cam Miller reaching into the endzone for their second touchdown of the day. Missouri State would score on their next drive, but that would be their only touchdown of the day. NDSU would punt on their next possession, but the Bears turned it over on downs on their next possession. This would incentivize the next Bison touchdown, which was another Miller to Mathis touchdown pass. Missouri State's QB would throw his first of three picks on the next drive, but NDSU would do nothing with it as they also turned it over on downs. The defense made up for it with a Mo State punt, and NDSU would score another touchdown this time with Cole Payton running into the endzone.
In the second half it was more of the same. The Bison would kick a field goal and score yet another touchdown, this time as Cole Payton's first career passing touchdown, which Jake Lippe was on the receiving end of it. Missouri State would kick a field goal and that would be it. It was a great day for the Bison and a good bounce back from the rough loss at home the week before.
This week, the Bison will head 45 mins north to Grand Forks to face off with in-state rival North Dakota at the Alerus Center. Kickoff is at 1 PM CT.

North Dakota State Football is 1-1 in MVFC play and 4-1 overall on the season.

Women's Soccer
NDSU Soccer had an ok week. They visited Tulsa on Thursday and feel to Oral Roberts 1-0. Then on Sunday they hosted in-state rival UND and tied them 0-0.
This week, NDSU has an extended time off. They will not play on Thursday, but will hit the road to play South Dakota in Vermillion on Sunday at 1 PM CT.

North Dakota State Soccer is 0-2-4 in Summit League play, and 4-5-6 overall on the season.

Volleyball
NDSU Volleyball split the weekend. They went down on Thursday to visit SDSU in Brookings, and swept them 3-0. On Saturday, the Bison lost to South Dakota in 5 sets.
This week, the Bison have an extended rest week and won't play until Saturday when they travel down to St. Paul to play St. Thomas at 12 PM CT.

North Dakota State Volleyball is 3-3 in Summit League play, and 11-6 overall on the season.

Go Bison!!!
