This week was a little rocky for NDSU Athletics.

Football
NDSU Football made the trip to Terre Haute, Indiana to face off against the Indiana State Sycamores. The Bison had quite the rocky start. They found themselves down 13-3 in the 2nd quarter after a fumble and bad drives had marred their start. They were able to score a touchdown before halftime to bring the deficit to 13-10. Out of halftime the team also scored again and brought it to 17-13. However, Indiana State would answer with a touchdown of their own. It all came down to the final drive, while NDSU was able to score their final touchdown in the final minutes to bring their lead to 31-20. Indiana State was not finished yet, and managed to score again. However, the Sycamores could not convert on the 2-point conversion and the score sat at 31-26, which would end up being the final score after the Bison recovered the onside kick attempt.
This week, the Bison come home in preparation for the ever-important Dakota Marker week. NDSU will host 2nd ranked South Dakota State on Saturday at 2:30 PM CT in the Fargodome.

North Dakota State Football is 5-1 on the season and 3-0 in MVFC play.

Volleyball
NDSU Volleyball only had one game this week as they had their bye week this week. They hosted in-state rival North Dakota this weekend, with a valiant effort. But the Bison fell short in 5 sets. This ends their streak of consecutive Summit League games won.
This week, the Bison will hit the road to go play the Pioneers in Denver on Thursday at 7 PM CT. Then on Saturday they will travel to Omaha to play the Mavericks at 3 PM CT.

North Dakota State Volleyball is 12-6 on the season and 5-1 in Summit League play.

Women's Soccer
NDSU Soccer started their last conference road trip this past week. They began by visiting Kansas City and were victorious, 3-1. Then they traveled to Tulsa to play Oral Roberts, but fell 2-0.
This week, the Bison will have most of the week off before they travel an hour north to play North Dakota on Sunday at 1 PM CT.

North Dakota State Women's Soccer is 6-7-3 on the season and 2-4 in Summit League play.

Go Bison!
