NDSU Athletics had another great week!

Football
NDSU Football hosted Central Arkansas this Saturday, who received votes in both FCS polls this week. Lots of hype surrounding this game as to whether UCA would give the Bison fits on offense. Instead, NDSU came out and punched the Bears in the mouth. UCA deferred to the second half, so NDSU came out and scored on their first drive. Then, on UCA's first drive, Eli Mostaert deflected a pass and picked it off for a touchdown, which gave the Bison a 14-0 lead in only 6 minutes into the game. UCA scored after that. NDSU would gain a larger lead however UCA continued to nip at their heels. Something NDSU head coach Matt Entz prides himself on is to win the middle 8 of the game. NDSU did just that today, scoring a touchdown right before half and on their first drive out of the half. They also would score a couple more in the 3rd quarter. UCA scored a couple garbage time TDs in the 4th, but the game was long over. Final score is the Bison on top, 49-31. NDSU's offense is looking better with every game. Cam Miller had arguably his best performance at NDSU, completing 18 of 19 passes for 200 yds and 2 passing scores, along with his 2 rushing scores. Cole Payton chipped in with a rushing score, as well as TaMerik Williams. All around, a great day for the Bison!
This week, the Bison will be on their bye week to prepare for MVFC play. NDSU will be back in action on Saturday, September 30th at home against South Dakota for the homecoming game. Kickoff is at 1 PM CT.

North Dakota State Football is 3-0 on the season.

Women's Soccer
NDSU Soccer finished off non-conference play at home against Arkansas Pine-Bluff on Friday. The Bison had themselves a nice game, shutting out APB 3-0. They will now exit non-conference play with a decent record.
This week, the Bison will get a small break before starting Summit League play on Thursday when they host Kansas City at Dacotah Field at 6:30 PM CT. They finish off the weekend when they host reigning Summit League tourney champ, Omaha on Sunday at 1 PM CT.

North Dakota State Soccer is 4-3-2 on the season.

Volleyball
NDSU Volleyball went down to Morgantown, West Virginia late this past week for the Mountaineer Invitational. On day one, they beat Robert Morris in 3 sets and lost to tourney host West Virginia in 3 sets. On day two, they concluded non-conference play with a 5 set win over Old Dominion.
This week, NDSU will start Summit League play on the road. They head to Tulsa on Thursday to play Oral Roberts at 7 PM CT. Then they conclude the opening weekend on Saturday when they visit Denver at 2 PM CT.

North Dakota State Volleyball is 8-3 on the season.
