Not the best week for Bison athletics.

Football
NDSU Football traveled to Tucson this weekend to play FBS-Arizona on FS1 nationally. The Bison played a very equal game, and was matching the Wildcats blow-to-blow and even had the lead for a fair amount of the 2nd half. With 5 minutes remaining though, Arizona scored to take a 3 point lead. NDSU got the ball back, but called 3 bizarre plays that gained a net of 2 yards. It was very strange, but they punted and never got the ball back. This ends the Bison's streak of 6 straight FBS wins. NDSU will have another chance at a FBS victory in two years when the play Colorado.
This week the Bison will travel down to Vermillion, SD for a matchup with the South Dakota Coyotes to begin MVFC play. The Coyotes received votes in the STATS Perform FCS Top 25 this week, NDSU remained number 1 for the 4th consecutive week.
North Dakota State Football is 2-1 on the season.

Women's Soccer
NDSU Soccer conducted their final non-conference road trip of the season when they visited Idaho and Montana. They managed a draw against the Vandals on Friday where neither team could score a goal. On Sunday, the Bison fell against the Grizzlies 3-0.
This week, the Bison begin Summit League play. First they will visit Denver on Friday at 8 PM. Then on Sunday they will visit Omaha at 1 PM.

North Dakota State Women's Soccer is 4-3-3 on the season.

Volleyball
NDSU Volleyball also had their final non-conference set of games this past weekend. The Bison traveled to Clarksville, Tennessee for the Stacheville Challenge. They lost to series host Austin Peay to start the day on Friday in 4 sets. They finished the night with a win over UT Martin in 3 sets. Then on Saturday, they fell to East Tennessee State in 3 sets.
This week, the Bison begin Summit League play when they travel to St. Paul to face St. Thomas on Thursday at 7 PM. Then, on Saturday they will arrive in Macomb, Illinois to faceoff against Western Illinois at 11 AM.

North Dakota State Volleyball is 7-5 on the season.

Lets hope this week is better.
