NDSU Athletics had a great week!

Football
NDSU Football traveled to Vermillion, South Dakota this weekend for the Valley Football opener. The Bison came off to a rough start, allowing two touchdowns and a field goal in the first half. NDSU could hardly get anything done, they looked lost and committed undisciplined penalties.
However, in the second half the team came out and roared to a touchdown, and then another in the 3rd quarter. In the 4th quarter the Bison scored again to seal the victory at a 34-17 handling on the Coyotes.
Now NDSU will come home for the Homecoming game against Youngstown State next Saturday, October 2nd. Kickoff is at 1 PM CT.

North Dakota State Football is 3-1 on the season and 1-0 in MVFC play.

Women's Soccer
NDSU Soccer had a rough go of things this weekend. The Bison opened up Summit League play when they visited Denver. Typically the league leaders, Denver beat the Bison 2-0. NDSU then traveled to Omaha and lost in a heartbreaker in the final minutes, losing 2-1.
Now, the Bison will come home for a matchup with St. Thomas on Thursday at 6 PM CT, and then a homecoming day matchup with Western Illinois on Saturday at 1 PM CT.

North Dakota State Women's Soccer is 4-5-1 on the season and 0-2 in Summit League play.

Volleyball
NDSU Volleyball had a great weekend of travel! They traveled to St. Paul on Thursday for their Summit League opener. They managed to beat the Tommies in 3 sets. Then they traveled to Macomb, Illinois and also beat the Leathernecks in 3 sets.
Now, the Bison will come home for 3 straight home games for Homecoming week. They begin on Tuesday at 7 PM CT against South Dakota, then on Thursday at 7 against Oral Roberts, and finally against Kansas City on Saturday at 10 AM CT for the Homecoming game.

North Dakota State Volleyball is 9-5 on the season, and 2-0 in Summit League play.

Go Bison!!
