Bison Sports Update: September 7

This was a great week for Bison athletics!

Football
NDSU Football traveled back out to the East Coast this week to play Tennessee State in the back end of a home and home. The Bison very convincingly trounced the Tigers. To put it in perspective, they led 45-0 at halftime. Tennessee State broke the shutout with around 4 minutes left. NDSU would win 59-3.
This week, the Bison will come home to open up the Fargodome for the first time this season. It will be a whiteout game against Southeast Missouri State, and kickoff will be at 2:30 PM. 
North Dakota State Football is 2-0 overall on the season.

Soccer
NDSU Soccer rounded out the home stand this week. On Thursday, they defeated NAIA Clarke 6-0. On Sunday, they lost to UC Santa Barbara 3-0. 
This week, the Bison will hit the road to face Florida Atlantic on Sunday at 5 PM CT.
North Dakota State Soccer is 4-4 overall on the season.

Volleyball
NDSU Volleyball went out on the road this week to Missoula, Montana for the Ellesyn Invitational. On Friday, the Bison defeated Oakland in 4 sets. However, on Saturday, they were swept by host Montana.
This week, the Bison will come home to host another set of games. On Thursday, NDSU will host Idaho at 7 PM CT. They will open up the fieldhouse as a neutral site on Friday when UTSA and Idaho face off. On Saturday, they will host Kent State at 11 AM CT to round out the weekend.
North Dakota State Volleyball is 4-1 overall on the season.
