Its that time of the year again, when college sports start again in full spring.

Football
NDSU Football sounds ready to go! The guys have been working formally since the first week of August here on campus. The city is ready, the team is ready, and the herd is ready for the full return of the NDSU Football team and experience!!
The Virginia Tech transfer Junior QB Quincy Patterson will start for the Bison this year, with sophomore Cam Miller backing him up. Senior WR Phoenix Sproles will hit the field for the first time since 2020, alongside award favorite Christian Watson.
This team brings in many new kids but also veteran guys and this team is set for an awesome year! The expectations have to be a championship run, this team needs to put the nation on notice again!
North Dakota State Football begins their season on Saturday, September 4th at 2:30 PM CT when they host Albany!

Women's Soccer
The NDSU soccer team did already start their season. They have lost 4 straight to start the year. The first was a home loss to Idaho (1-0). The second was Baylor (4-0). The last two have been at a neutral site in Boise, Idaho against Pacific (4-1) and Dixie State (3-0).
The soccer team hopes to rebound at home against Wyoming at 6 PM CT.
North Dakota State soccer is 0-4 overall and has not started conference play.

Volleyball
The NDSU volleyball team has also started their season. The volleyball team plays in 4 classic tournaments to start the year. The first classic, the Green Bay invite, ended with the Bison going 1-2 in the classic. NDSU started against Northern Iowa and lost in four sets. Then the Bison won their first game of the year against Green Bay (the host) in five sets. The closer to the classic the Bison lost to Ball State in 3 sets.
NDSU continues their 2021 campaign in the Windy City classic. It starts on Friday, September 3 against Charlotte at 10 AM.

This should be a great year for the Bison teams, lets hope!

Go Bison!
